JOB
Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates in a timely manner at various stages of design from schematic and budget to detailed take-off and pricing Participate in project meetings, review schedules and prepare reports Review and understand project requirements Negotiate construction prices with subcontractors for competitive bidding Organize subcontractors' quotations by trade with work items and comparative scope analysis Exhibit a full understanding of general conditions, fee percentage calculations and scheduling of projects Ensure Project Management team is provided with necessary documentation throughout the estimating process and work together on issues as they arise Maintain good communication with clients and subcontractors Demonstrate leadership of assigned projects including internal communication and meetings This job description is intended to outline those functions typically performed by individuals assigned to this position.
