New account business development
Grows and manages sales for key clients in big box channel; hardware category
Targets new business opportunities primarily in the hardware category
Leverages retail merchant relationships to foster sales and future opportunities
Increases revenue through specific account plans, i.e., developing promotional programs, pricing management, etc.
Analyzes sales trends and drivers of root causes to improve sales
Stays abreast of market and competitor trends for translation into client action items
Plans and executes product line reviews to gain new and maintain business
Communicates programs and projects to regional retail leaders to gain participation
Partners with client to build programs that win at retail and drive sell through
Plans, implements, and executes all marketing, advertising, and promotional plans
Synthesizes retail, competitive and consumer trends and turns them into client opportunities
Creates written sales decks and sell sheets
Accountable for generating new business opportunities for the Company
Five or more years in retail/merchandising and/or CPG experience - hard lines space
Five or more years project and account management experience
History of growing sales required
Experience in retail operations, retail distribution, shopper insights, packaging pricing, and merchandising required
Knowledgeable in big box and other select retailer requirements
Tenacity in digging into problems and willingness to dive into details to drive conclusions
Proficient in technology, including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking, detail-orientation, planning and organization skills, and time management
Ability to troubleshoot problems at the client or retail level and resolve them
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Corporate office environment with up to 50% travel; subject to before and after hours work to meet deadlines

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
