JOB
Summary: Airgas Refrigerants - Responsible for maintaining machines, mechanical equipment, and building repairs. Will also need to lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms. Will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing broken equipment, replacing parts, control systems, motors, and other types of electrical equipment. This includes perform maintenance of electrical systems; also assist in the setup of refrigeration systems in accordance with company guidelines and SAFECOR standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Associates will need to be able to move up to 70 pounds and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Must have outstanding work performance, attitude and ethic at all times.
Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time throughout the work shift.
Ability to safely operate all Material Handling Equipment.
Report any signs of vandalism or break-in.
Familiarity with Right to Know Safety Data Sheets.
Perform manual repairs when necessary (PM).
Perform general upkeep procedures, and other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Basic understanding of electrical, vacuum pumps, and other systems.
Ability to work second and third shift occasionally based on production demands.
Monitor and repair as permitted all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment not limited to inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose electrical malfunctions.
Disassemble equipment for repair found during routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Operate welding equipment.
Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments.
Remain knowledgeable and be in compliance with current Local & National Electric Codes
Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs and test for adequate operation.
Perform and document Lock Tag and Try for energy isolation not only for one's self, but for others to perform maintenance as well.
EXPERIENCE
Welding and pipe fitting skills preferred TIG, MIG, & other.
Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical components, maintenance and repair of various pumps and various equipment types.
Must be able to work on both high voltage and low voltage circuits.
Must be certified to work on low and high voltage circuits.
Must be familiar with industrial applications for Programmable Logic Controllers.
Basic understanding of PLC programming is a plus.
Ability to communicate in standard business style and grammar.
Respond quickly to emergency, and notify the appropriate personnel of any safety issue.
Knowledge in Refrigeration Theory a plus.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent.
5 to 10 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
