This '33 Ford Sedan is simply gorgeous from every angle and was treated to a frame-off restoration by Robert Thresher of Yesterday's Classics.
The impeccable quality is seen throughout the car.
I will do my best to provide enough large images, a video of it starting up and running, and an honest description to help you decide if this Ford All Steel Sedan should be in your garage this summer.
As mentioned, this '33 was treated to professional, frame-off restoration and the paint and body are absolutely outstanding!!! This is an all-steel bodied car and the body panels are extremely straight and body panel fit is outstanding especially when you consider this car is 80 years old and chances are the body panels fit better than they did in '33.
Suicide Doors open and shut very nicely! Finished with an incredible deep Red customer paint with a custom camel and black leather interior.
The car was professionally detailed and has a great layer of wax on it that you can simply wipe down with a microfibre cloth before the shows.
I think the photo tour below will show you what you need to see and I feel confident saying this '33 looks as good in person as it does in the pics! Complimenting the jaw-dropping Red exterior is an incredible custom beige full leather interior with customer accents in brown along with a Starliner Headliner.
Custom door panels match the seats and all of the upholstery looks close to new.
Tilt steering column with a beautiful wood grain banjo steering wheel.
Nice set of gauges in the dash.
All of the gauges are working correctly.
This '33 also has an updated vintage air conditioning system which is controlled via the panel on the dash.
The leather dash and console also add to the detail of the interior.
For the finishing touch, a Kenwood sound system for all of your music and Bluetooth needs.
Speakers are placed throughout the cabin for a great sound system.
Overall a meticulous and super comfortable and custom interior ready for the shows and cruise-ins.
The equipment list used in the creation is extensive and impressive! .
ABSOLUTELY!!!!! If you have owned or driven any older Hot Rods you probably know that not all of them run and drive all that great and are quite dangerous to hit the road in.
Not this '33!!!! Let's start with the 350 CI Crate power plant that has just over 200 miles on it since the restoration.
With plenty of horsepower, it has more than enough to set you back in your seat if you mash the pedal and will get you on the highway with ease and will also cruise out at 75 mph with no issue.
Nice street cam gives it a slight lope at idle.
The engine bay is a nicely detailed and polished alternator and polished A/C compressor help dress it up.
Red Top Optima battery neatly mounted for strong cranking power and custom radiator enclosure helps keep this baby running cool at all times! Driving this ground-pounding classic is also a breeze thanks to the great engine and coil-over suspension and stopping is also a breeze thanks to the power front disc brakes.
No pulling, no vibrations, just a smooth and tight ride from this '33.
Of course, it is a Chevrolet automatic transmission shifts smooth and strong.
9 Ford Rear end gearing is estimated at 3.
25 gears for comfortable highway cruising.
This sedan really hits the road beautifully and is a joy to drive!! The total investment in the build would be well into the $100,000 plus in todayss market! Don't miss the opportunity to take this beautiful '33 Henry Steel Ford for the ultimate cruise!.
